About the role

Registered Nurse (RN), Independent Contractor
Castleton Home Care, Alpharetta, GA

About us: Castleton Home Care is a locally owned, private-pay home care agency serving Alpharetta and North Metro Atlanta. We provide non-medical in-home care with RN oversight, and we do things the right way for both clients and caregivers.

The role: We're looking for a Georgia-licensed RN to join us as an independent contractor, owning the clinical side of client onboarding and ongoing care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial in-home assessments for new clients
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings
  • Perform supervisory assessments and visits per Georgia requirements
  • Modify and update care plans as client needs change
  • Coordinate directly with clients and families to schedule assessments
  • Document visits and communicate updates to our office team

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in Georgia
  • Experience in home care, geriatrics, or community health preferred
  • Strong assessment and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation, willing to travel within our service area
  • Workers compensation insurance (or willingness to obtain)

Contract details:

  • 1099 independent contractor role
  • Flexible schedule, you book visit times directly with clients
  • Per-visit compensation, competitive and based on experience
